It takes 25g of fresh organic blackcurrants to produce just 1 tsp of organic blackcurrant powder. It is an easy way to transform your smoothies into a special fruity delight. Vitamin c contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to the normal function of the immune system. Suggested use – 5g – 15g (1 to 3 tsps) daily. Mix with water, juice or a delicious smoothie. Blackcurrant powder should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet. Recipe Idea – Fruity Deep Purple Smoothie. 1 ripe, peeled mango, half a ripe peeled banana, 1 tsp Greens Organic Blackcurrant Powder, half a cup of soft fruits (blueberries or raspberries), 1 cup of water.
